Naidi Valverde-Romero is a senior at ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø majoring in International Relations with a minor in Chinese. Through the SURE program, she is assisting Dr. Sara Koopman (School of Peace and Conflict Studies) on a project archiving blogs that document international protective accompaniment in Colombia. Her research explores how factors such as race, gender, and nationality influence approaches to peacemaking. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in library and information science with a focus on archival studies.
