Commencement Ceremonies Held on Salem Campus

Caps and GownsCommencement ceremonies were held May 13 for the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Salem Campus. Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Columbiana County Campuses, presided over the event, along with Dr. Celeste Oprean, assistant dean for the Salem Campus.

Students speakers Devyn Rothbrust and Lisa KessegThe keynote speaker was Rep. Timothy Ginter, State Representative for the 5th Ohio House District.

Student speakers included Lisa Kesseg of the Insurance Studies program and Devyn Rothbrust of the Horticulture program.

Nearly 400 degrees were awarded this semester between the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Salem and East Liverpool campuses.All Smiles

Denise A. Seachrist, Ph.D., dean of ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø at Salem, announced those students named to the Spring 2025 President’s and Dean’s lists. To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester, the majority at the Salem Campus.

To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 or more credit hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester, the majority at the East Liverpool Campus. 

¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø at Salem held its 2025 nursing convocation and pinning ceremony during which students received their nursing pins and recited the Florence Nightingale pledge. All are receiving degrees this spring and summer through the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program on the Salem Campus.
