Last fall, the annual ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Columbiana County Volleyball Classic was held between the East Liverpool and Salem high school teams. As part of this event, the local ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø campuses award $500 scholarships to two students from each of the high schools.

Nelson intends to study nursing on the East Liverpool Campus and Rhodes will attend the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Salem Campus while determining her major.
Two recipients from Salem High School will be recognized at their senior awards ceremony in May.
