¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø’s Regional Campuses were well-represented at the during which Olivia Rice, a psychology student from ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Salem, earned a first-place ranking for her research poster. The conference was held earlier this month at Ohio University in Chillicothe.
Rice received the E. Ted Bunn Student Excellence Award-Best Poster for her research project titled “Undergraduate Student Benefits: Research Within Community Outreach.â€
Three faculty members from the Salem Campus also presented their research on the Hyflex course teaching method, a blend of hybrid and flexible formats. They were Rachael Blasiman, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology; Sheren Farag, Ph.D., assistant professor of horticulture; and Kristine Harrington, associate lecturer of English.
Steve Toepfer, Ph. D., associate professor of human development and family studies from ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Salem, is the editor of the AURCO Journal and also attended.
Other ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Regional Campus representatives included Bob Antenucci, Ph.D., associate professor of business management technology on the Geauga and Trumbull campuses; Eric Taylor, Ph.D., professor of geology at ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Stark; and Francis Graham, Ph.D., professor emeritus who taught physics on the East Liverpool and Salem campuses.
