All this week, "In A Flash" will feature images from the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø group's trip to Rwanda.
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø educators and students visited a marketplace that sells goods made by marginalized women. Afterward, they watched a traditional dance troupe perform and were invited to dance with them.

The visitors from ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø are in Rwanda attending (held July 11-13), a global peace conference sponsored by ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹Ù꿉۪s School of Peace and Conflict Studies, ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹Ù꿉۪s Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education, the and the , a non-profit organization dedicated to ending genocide and other global atrocities.

Bringing together peace and conflict experts and educators from around the world, the conference is another building block in ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹Ù꿉۪s growing relationship with the University of Rwanda. In May 2022, ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹Ù꿉۪s Board of Trustees approved ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø opening a base of operations at the University of Rwanda for creating collaborative educational exchanges and to serve as a base of operations for ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹Ù꿉۪s recruitment throughout Africa.
