¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, to celebrate King’s life and legacy. Serving as this year’s keynote speaker is CNN political analyst and former South Carolina state Rep. Bakari Sellers. The virtual program is free and open to the public.
The ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø alumni family will grow by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university holds its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2020 will be recognized with a virtual commencement recognition ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø President Todd Diacon and others express their appreciation for the hard-working employees who have pulled together to keep our campuses operating throughout the pandemic.
Campus Pride has released its 2020 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the first time in school history, ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø has landed on the distinctive list as one of 40 institutions recognized over six U.S. regions.
More than 21,200 people applied to be part of ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹Ù꿉۪s Class of 2024, and 3,819 can now consider themselves to be Golden Flashes.
The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities has selected ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø as one of four finalists for the association’s 2020 Degree Completion Award. The annual award works to identify, recognize and reward institutions that employ innovative approaches to improve degree completion while ensuring educational quality.
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø has won a Best in Class award for supplier diversity from the Greater Cleveland Partnership. This marks the third time that the university has received this award. As a multiyear winner of the Best in Class awards, ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø is also named to the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s Equity and Inclusion Hall of Fame.
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø shines again in the new 2021 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings. ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø is the highest-ranking public university in Northern Ohio on the Top Public Schools and Best National Universities lists in the newly released rankings.
They’re back! ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø students have begun their fall 2020 classes, and official enrollment figures include many highlights.
