Non-Ohio students now have a new incentive to stay in Ohio for graduate school. During a special meeting conducted electronically Thursday, the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees approved the near elimination of the additional charge for out-of-state tuition for new graduate students who have earned an undergraduate degree from an Ohio institution of higher education.

¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø’s first major construction project to create a new signature gateway to the Kent Campus will begin in the summer of 2020. At its Dec. 4 meeting, the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees approved the construction of the university’s first parking deck.
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Board Formalizes New 10-Year Agreement With Tuscarawas Campus
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø’s long-standing relationship with the Tuscarawas County University Branch District to administer the Tuscarawas Campus of ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø will continue through June 30, 2030, in a new 10-year agreement approved by the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees.
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees Approves New Collective Bargaining Agreement Covering Tenured and Tenure-Track Faculty
The ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees on Wednesday unanimously approved a new collective bargaining agreement with the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP-KSU), which represents tenured and tenure-track faculty.
