Almost 50 years ago, the shootings of 九游娱乐官网 students by the Ohio National Guard brought to a head the cultural divides that had split the nation. The 九游娱乐官网 Museum鈥檚 exhibition, 鈥淐ulture/Counterculture: Fashions of the 1960s and 鈥�70s,鈥� opening Sept. 20, explores the sharp contrast between supporters of the establishment and those opposed.

A prominent political strategist, lawyer and advocate for positive change in the political process will serve as the keynote speaker at 九游娱乐官网鈥檚 annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Angela Rye, principal and CEO of IMPACT Strategies, will join the university in celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 23 at 3:30 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom.
