In keeping with the commitment to honor and remember the events of May 4, 1970, ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø will hold a virtual May 4 51st Commemoration this year. The virtual commemoration will feature a video premiering at noon on Tuesday, May 4, that focuses on the nine wounded students: Alan Canfora, John Cleary, Thomas Grace, Dean Kahler, Joseph Lewis, Donald Mackenzie, James Russell, Robert Stamps and Douglas Wrentmore.
Pittsburgh Penguins and ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Partnership Scores Unique Opportunities for Golden Flashes
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø has partnered with the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins since 2018, allowing this nationally recognized hockey team to work closely with the university and providing professional and recreational aid to the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø community. LGBTQ+ Center Marks 10-Year Milestone

¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, to celebrate King’s life and legacy. Serving as this year’s keynote speaker is CNN political analyst and former South Carolina state Rep. Bakari Sellers. The virtual program is free and open to the public.
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø to Celebrate Its Newest Graduates With Virtual Commencement on Dec. 19
The ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø alumni family will grow by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university holds its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2020 will be recognized with a virtual commencement recognition ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.
