May 4 Books Give First-Year Students Unique Common Experience
¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹Ù꿉۪s Common Reading Experience is an opportunity for first-year students to read university-selected books and share a common experience with their peers. The goal is for freshmen to gain an understanding of the university’s values and to build and maintain relationships that foster success with faculty, administration and staff.

Cavs Legion Gaming Club (GC), the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has teamed up with ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Esports in a unique new partnership designed to help grow and strengthen the local gaming community in Northeast Ohio, as well as promote the university’s newly launched collegiate esports program.

¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Ashtabula Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Moving to State of Ohio’s First Hybrid Model
Targeted at widening students’ educational opportunities in preparing them for a career in occupational therapy, the ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø at Ashtabula Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Technology program recently announced the creation of a hybrid model, combining online learning with more convenient on-campus laboratory sessions.

¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Holds Summer Commencement Ceremonies on Aug. 17
The ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø alumni network will again grow its ranks this summer as more than a thousand Golden Flashes get their degrees. ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø will hold its Summer 2019 Commencement ceremonies for the Kent Campus on Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center.
