In 1977, the U.S. government established a time to recognize Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders and their accomplishments. The commemoration started as a week but in the 1990s evolved into a monthlong celebration.

The ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees approved the updated ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Complete College Ohio Campus Completion Plan as part of a state and institutional commitment to increase dramatically the number of college degrees awarded in Ohio.
