Kent Fire Department to Perform Annual Prairie Burn

The protected prairie surrounding ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹Ù꿉۪s Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be burned on Monday, April 15, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon, to allow for new growth during the summer season.

Lewis, Ph.D., will feature Professor of Geography Chris Post, Ph.D., presenting â€œDeveloping and Interpreting the Wounded Student Markers at ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍøâ€ as this year’s selected speaker. The Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon will be held on May 3.

Flash of Darkness: ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Celebrates Total Eclipse of the Sun

It was a party 218 years in the making.

The thousands of people who came to ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø on April 8 to witness the total solar eclipse did not leave disappointed by the celestial show, the likes of which had not been seen in Kent, Ohio since 1806.
